Issues: Unemployed and Low-Income Employment and Affirmative Action Veterans Health and Health Care Housing and Property

My priority will be to provide our veterans and our vulnerable homeless veterans with specialized tools:

I. Veterans Needs Assessment
*Electronic distribution of discharge documents, Medical & Personnel records
*Voluntary enrollment in the state veteran's reintegration program.
*Implement the Troops to College & Certificate programs
*VA Hospital -- evaluate the level of service & safety being provided for veterans
*Farm & Home Loan Program -- revamp to make it more pertinent to a wider range of veterans.

II. These six core issues should drive the policies and resource as we move forward.
*Employment
*Healthcare
*Education & Training
*Housing
*Prevention & Less symptomatic treatment
*Knowledge of Veterans Benefits & Disability resource's

III. V.A. Disability Rating System
*Update the computation process used to award V.A. Benefits.
*100 day limit on processing disability claims
*Increase the Disability Benefits Award amount
